Colorado Bend State Park

 A 50 minute drive from our Resort, Colorado Bend State Park is a favorite hiking spot among locals. "The Bend" features easy to moderate hikes, and a famous 70-foot spring-fed waterfall, Gorman Falls.

Longhorn Cavern State Park

Limestone caverns in Burnet

 A 50 minute drive from the park in Burnet, the Longhorn Cavern State Park is a cave system carved by an underground river. The park offers 90-minute walking tours of the cave system, gemstone and geode mining, and hiking.

Enchanted Rock State Park

Massive pink granite outcrop near Fredericksburg

An hour and a half journey from Rocky River through the Texas Hill Country, Enchanted Rock has various hiking, camping, and recreation opportunities. Visitors can hike to the 425-foot summit, explore the hidden cave, bouldering, and stargazing in the park’s certified International Dark Sky zone.
